According to preliminary reports, he died of cardiac arrest. Director Rajesh Ghatani has confirmed the news of Prashant's death. He was immediately admitted to the hospital after he was found dead in the house.
Yesterday on (January 11, 2026), Prashant was declared dead at Dwarka Hospital in New Delhi.
Prashant had also served in the Kolkata Police force. Similarly, he also appeared in the lead role in many Nepali films. He recently played an important role in the second season of 'Paatal Lok'.
