On Friday, streaming platform Netflix revealed its worldwide film and television schedule, which includes the highly anticipated third season of "Squid Game," the criminal thriller "Rip" starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, and Frankenstein, directed by Academy Award winner Guillermo del Toro.

Other titles include Noah Baumbach's "Jay Kelly," starring George Clooney, and Rian Johnson's upcoming Knives Out movie "Wake Up Dead Man," which will reunite Daniel Craig as renowned detective Benoit Blanc.

Prominent Hollywood figures, including del Toro, Affleck, John Mulaney, Tina Fey, and the Duffer Brothers, attended the event at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles. Special guests included WWE superstars CM Punk and Rhea Ripley. The event was broadcast live in twelve different nations simultaneously.

At Netflix's yearly preview of films, TV shows, and games in 2025, Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria stated, "There is no way to be entirely ready for what is next on Netflix, regardless of what you are looking forward to this year."

According to the streamer, "The Old Guard 2" will debut on July 2. Charlize Theron returns in the movie as the immortal mercenary Andy of Scythia, who must face a formidable new foe. Fan favourites including "Stranger Things," "Wednesday," and "Squid Game" will also be available on Netflix.

The second season of "Wednesday," starring Jenna Ortega, has concluded production and will premiere later this year, according to Bajaria. Additionally, she said that the last season of "Squid Game" will premiere on June 27.

On March 12, "Everybody's Live with John Mulaney," a brand-new, weekly, unique late-night programme, will make its live debut.
