Filmmaker Milap Zaveri is set to steer the laughter ship as he takes on the directorial role for the much-anticipated Masti 4. Zaveri, renowned for his scripting prowess in all three previous Masti installments, is now ready to shape the franchise from the director’s chair.

The Masti series, initiated in 2004, pioneered the genre of sex comedies in India. Grand Masti, released in 2013, emerged as a colossal success, crossing the coveted 100 crore mark at the box office. However, Great Grand Masti, hitting screens in 2016, faced underwhelming performance.

Breaking away from tradition, where all three films were directed by Indra Kumar, Masti 4 will witness Milap Zaveri’s directorial finesse. Zaveri’s association with the franchise goes beyond this directorial venture, having penned the scripts for previous Masti movies.

Returning to tickle the audience’s funny bone are the original trio of Vivek Oberoi, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Aftab Shivdasani. However, in a fresh twist, Masti 4 will introduce a new set of leading ladies opposite each of the seasoned actors.
