Metro… In Dino Delayed Again: Anurag Basu to Reshoot Scenes

With Metro... In Dino facing yet another delay, fans will have to wait longer for the next chapter of love, heartbreak, and music in the bustling city. But if Anurag Basu’s perfectionism and Pritam’s melodies are anything to go by, the wait might just be worth it. After all, a metro ride is never about the destination—it’s about the journey, and this one promises to be unforgettable.

Metro… In Dino Delayed Again: Anurag Basu to Reshoot Scenes

Bollywood’s much-awaited sequel to Life in a... Metro, titled Metro... In Dino, has faced yet another delay. The film, directed by Anurag Basu and produced by T-Series, was initially set for release in November 2024 but was later postponed to April 2025. Now, sources reveal that the film won’t make its April release date either, as Basu is planning to reshoot certain scenes.

According to insiders, Anurag Basu is not entirely satisfied with some portions of the film and has decided to rework them. Given Basu’s perfectionist approach, he wants to ensure that the sequel lives up to the expectations set by its predecessor, Life in a... Metro(2007), which was a critical and commercial success.

*Metro... In Dino boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, and Konkona Sen Sharma. Like its prequel, the film is expected to explore modern relationships, heartbreaks, and urban struggles, set against a soulful soundtrack.

Music has been a key highlight of the *Metro* franchise, and fans have high hopes from composer Pritam, who delivered chartbuster songs in the original film. His return for the sequel promises another unforgettable album.

With reshoots planned, the film now needs more time before it hits the big screen. The makers have yet to announce a new release date, but sources suggest that it may get pushed further into 2025.

As fans eagerly await Metro... In Dino, the delay only adds to the anticipation, ensuring that when the film finally arrives, it delivers an unforgettable cinematic experience.
