And how the youngster got to be happy, and why the child's single mother does not give a damn. The fifth narrative. A senior couple meets a buddy from college in a resort where they are having a New Year's celebration, and the woman develops a romantic relationship with the friend's wife. The sixth narrative. What does a senior software professional do with his lover's hand when they arrange to spend New Year's Day together? The way the six stories were initially presented separately and then merged must be viewed on screen.
