Chhaava Box Office Day 3: Vicky Kaushal’s Film Becomes 2025’s Biggest Bollywood Hit, Crosses ₹116.5 Crore Worldwide

The new movie starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna released in theatres this Friday to a fantastic response. According to Sacnilk, the first Sunday of the Laxman Utekar movie saw a huge spike. On Sunday alone, it made around ₹50 crore. In just three days, it has become the biggest movie of 2025.

Early estimates indicate that Chhaava made ₹48.5 crore net on its first Sunday, bringing its three-day total to ₹116.5 crore net, according to the newspaper. The historical action movie broke Gully Boy's record of ₹19.40 crore on its first release day, earning ₹31 crore, the biggest of any Valentine's Day movie. It brought in ₹37 crore on Saturday, a 19.35% increase, and on Sunday, it recorded even higher figures.

Chhaava has made the most money this year with a total of Rs 116 crore. Sky Force, which had earned ₹114 crore in over three weeks, comes next. Other films, such as Emergency and Deva, fall far short.

"Chhaava" has also become Vicky Kaushal's third-highest-grossing film, overtaking "Sam Bahadur" and is on track to surpass "Raazi" in the coming days. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the historical drama features Kaushal portraying Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, with Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles.

The film's success is attributed to its compelling storytelling, strong performances, and positive word-of-mouth. As "Chhaava" continues its theatrical run, industry analysts predict that it will set new benchmarks in box office collections, further elevating Vicky Kaushal's illustrious career.
