Deve Gowda, Prajwal Revanna, issued his first public statement following the controversial verdict that has triggered political tremors across Karnataka. He asserted that the ruling was influenced by political forces aimed at discrediting his family and party.
In his statement, Revanna added that he would challenge the judgment in a higher court and expressed faith in the judiciary. The case, which involves multiple allegations of sexual assault, had been under investigation by a Special Investigation Team (SIT), which presented strong evidence leading to his conviction.
