After 'Dog Babu', 'Donald Trump' Applies for Bihar Residence Certificate Amid Voter List Revision

In yet another bizarre case from Bihar, a man named 'Donald Trump' has reportedly applied for a residence certificate during the voter list revision, sparking both amusement and concern over administrative lapses.

Following the recent viral news about a dog named "Dog Babu" receiving an official voter ID in Bihar, another strange incident has emerged, this time involving the globally known name of former U.S. President Donald Trump. Authorities in Bihar were left stunned when an application surfaced for a residence certificate under the name "Donald Trump" during the ongoing voter list revision campaign.

The incident reportedly occurred in a rural area of Bihar, where local officials initially did not spot the anomaly in the paperwork. It came to light only after the digital records were flagged during the review process. The name instantly caught public attention and led to widespread media coverage.

Sources suggest the application may have been submitted either as a prank or due to negligence in document verification. The local administration has ordered an internal inquiry and assured action against those responsible for this oversight.

This is not the first time that Bihar's administrative system has been embarrassed by odd names and fake entries in government documents. From issuing documents to pets to mistakenly enrolling foreign celebrities, these incidents continue to expose serious flaws in the verification processes during major drives like voter list updates.

The Election Commission of India and Bihar state authorities are expected to issue new guidelines to prevent such errors in the future. Meanwhile, netizens are having a field day reacting to the strange mix of global politics and local bureaucracy.
