Noida Engineer Death Case: Engineer Yuvraj Mehta lost his life after drowning in the water accumulated in the basement of an under-construction mall in Greater Noida. The incident is not just an accident but is being alleged to be the culmination of administrative irresponsibility. Shockingly, Yuvraj had been crying out for help for nearly two hours, he had called his father and requested him to save him, but a father lost his young son in front of his eyes. The death of a software engineer has sparked outrage in the entire area.

Last talk to my dad on the phone

After the car fell into the water, Yuvraj called his father on the spot. Papa, I have fallen into the drain, save me, he cried. His father Rajkumar Mehta immediately caught the cab and rushed to look for the boy. 

Yuvraj climbed on top of the car and tried to attract everyone's attention with the torch of his mobile. He was screaming for help, but when his father reached there 40 minutes later, he was left with no option but to helplessly watch his son at death's door.

Big question mark on the ability of the rescue team

Serious questions are being raised on the role of the rescue team in this incident. According to local residents, the police and fire brigade reached the spot, but they did not have proper equipment. 

A delivery boy tried to find Yuvraj by wading into the water without caring for his own life, but the system did not have a simple boat or trained personnel. At around 2.30 am, Yuvraj's mobile lights went off and a father lost his son forever.
