Balen Shah Set to Take Oath as Nepal’s PM in Historic Ceremony

Balen Shah will be sworn in as the next Prime Minister of Nepal on the 27th. His swearing-in ceremony will be exceptional for many reasons. Preparations for the ceremony are already being finalized. According to the schedule, Balen Shah will take the oath on the 27th at 12:34 pm. As many as 108 Batuk priests will also be present on the occasion. 

 

The resounding victory of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has created a new wave of hope among the Nepalese people. Young Nepalis are now feeling their participation in taking their elected representatives to Parliament with an absolute majority. It is being considered the beginning of a new era of political stability and economic development. 

 

The three-and-a-half-year-old party, led by its president, Rabi Lamichhane, and prime ministerial candidate, Balen Shah, won 125 seats.
