Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's Pre-Wedding Festivities: Day 1's Extravaganza and Day 2's Low-Key Affairs

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, engaged in Mumbai on January 19, 2023, are now hosting their pre-wedding celebrations at Jamnagar's Reliance Greens Complex. The three-day festivities, organized by the Ambanis and Merchants, are being attended by around 1,000 distinguished guests

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's Pre-Wedding Festivities: Day 1's Extravaganza and Day 2's Low-Key Affairs

Anticipation and amazement sweep across the nation as the eagerly awaited wedding of the year approaches. The youngest heir of billionaire Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani is ready to tie the knot with Radhika Merchant, the daughter of Viren A Merchant and Shaila Viren Merchant. Although the lavish wedding is set for July, the pre-wedding celebrations have kicked off with immense enthusiasm.

The festivities kicked off with the Anna Seva event hosted by the Ambani family at Reliance's Jamnagar township. Following this, a three-day gala from March 1 to 3 is set to unfold. The guest list is nothing short of a star-studded affair, with luminaries like Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and other Bollywood celebrities gracing the functions. Accompanying them are renowned Indian cricketers, including Sachin Tendulkar, M S Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, K L Rahul, and the Pandya brothers, Hardik and Krunal, who have descended upon Jamnagar for the festive occasion. Adding to the global allure are personalities like Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Ivanka Trump, daughter and advisor to former US president Donald Trump, who are also slated to be part of these extravagant celebrations.

Capturing the most attention and breaking the internet, the event kicked off with a spectacular performance by pop sensation Rihanna. The audience at the exclusive gathering was visibly ecstatic as Rihanna graced the stage, delivering electrifying renditions of her hits like 'Pour it Up,' 'Wild Things,' and 'Diamonds.' The renowned singer, who arrived in Jamnagar, Gujarat, on February 29 with her ensemble, is said to be receiving an impressive sum of over Rs 50 crore for her stellar performance. It's worth highlighting that Rihanna is not the first international artist to take the stage at an Ambani wedding. Back in 2018, Beyoncé was the headline performer at the sangeet ceremony for Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, and speculations suggested she received a substantial fee, reportedly close to Rs 33 crore. Guests can also anticipate entertainment from Arijit Singh, Hariharan, and Diljit Dosanjh during the celebrations.

The airport in Jamnagar has been formally designated as an international airport for ten days. This decision aims to facilitate the attendance of distinguished personalities from across the globe at the three-day pre-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. On the first day of the three-day extravaganza, attendees experienced "an evening in Everland," a mesmerizing Cirque du Soleil performance, a show at Vantara, a captivating drone display, Rihanna's debut performance in India, followed by dinner and an after-party.

The integration of wildlife conservation initiatives with the celebration of Indian culture on the second day adds a meaningful dimension to the wedding festivities, underscoring the Ambani family's commitment to both global causes and local traditions. Guests are scheduled to visit the Ambanis' animal rescue and rehabilitation center in Jamnagar, Gujarat, with a dress code themed as "jungle fever." Following the wildlife walk, attendees will be guided to 'Mela Rouge,' where a medley of traditional Indian activities will unfold, with the dress code specified as "South Asian attires."
