Delhi Police has arrested a major conspirator linked to the firing at Kapil Sharma’s Canada-based café, recovering a Chinese PX-3 pistol and exposing cross-border gang connections.
The accused, identified as Bandhu Man Singh Sekhon, was apprehended during an operation in Ludhiana. He is believed to be a key associate of the Canada-based gangster Goldy Dhillon. According to police investigations, Sekhon played a major role in arranging weapons, vehicles, and logistical support for the shooters who targeted Kap’s Café multiple times in Surrey, Canada.
Officials revealed that the seized foreign-made PX-3 pistol and cartridges indicate the involvement of an organised international weapon-supply chain. The incident has also highlighted the growing nexus between Indian and Canada-based criminal networks targeting high-profile individuals and businesses.
Delhi Police is now expanding the probe to identify other collaborators, financial links, and the motive behind the repeated attacks on the café. Cross-border agencies are coordinating intelligence to dismantle the wider network involved in planning the firing incidents.
