Several schools in Delhi received bomb threats on Monday morning. According to the Delhi Fire Service (DFS), the first call came at 8:33 am, after which the fire brigade and bomb disposal squad were sent to the spot
Nine schools across the city have received bomb threats, including the following:
- Loreto Convent School, Delhi Cantonment
- Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri, South Delhi
- Venkateswara School, Rohini, North West Delhi
- CM School, Rohini
- Bal Bharti School, Rohini
- Cambridge School, New Friends Colony, South Delhi
- Indian School in South Delhi's Sadiq Nagar
- DTA School, INA
Other schools were also reported to have received similar threats. The email, which contained disturbing and provocative messages, claimed, "Delhi will become Khalistan. Punjab is Khalistan. In memory of Afzal Guru. "
