Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts has revealed she is expecting her first child this spring!
The 40-year-old singer shared the joyful news on Christmas Day, announcing she and her partner, Mitch Hahn, are expecting their first baby after revealing she is five months pregnant in a heartfelt Instagram post.
Roberts, famous for her work with the iconic British girl group Girls Aloud — known for hits like Sound Of The Underground, I’ll Stand By You and The Promise — captioned her photos with: “Mitch and I have had the most magical Christmas Day sharing the most precious news with our families. We’ve been keeping a secret. We are five months pregnant! We can’t wait to meet our little one in the spring.”
In a series of shared images, Roberts could be seen proudly cradling her baby bump in front of a Christmas tree. The post quickly drew heartfelt congratulations from celebrity friends including Rochelle Humes, Laura Whitmore and comedian Alan Carr
Roberts and Mitch Hahn — a footballer and businessman — became engaged a year ago during a romantic getaway to the south of France. The couple’s relationship has been largely private, but fans will now be celebrating this new chapter in their lives.
This happy news comes following a year in which Girls Aloud reunited for a UK and Ireland tour, honoring their legacy and late bandmate Sarah Harding, who died in 2021. Alongside her musical achievements, Roberts has also been starring in the West End production of the musical Hadesto.
Fans across social media have been sharing excitement and support for the singer’s pregnancy announcement, making this holiday season even more special for the pop star.
