Damian Miller is an American entrepreneur, author and founder and CEO of Orb Energy, a  rooftop solar supplier company based in India.  He is the author of the book Selling Solar: The Diffusion of Renewable Energy in Emerging Markets, published by Routledge publication.

Damian did Ph.D. from Trinity College, Cambridge, Cambridge University in the early commercialisation of solar energy technology.

From 1998 until 2006, Damian worked for Shell Solar before founding Orb Energy. In this company he oversaw operations across 7 countries in Africa. Mr. Miller has over ten years of expertise in the solar photovoltaic industry and formerly worked for Shell Solar as the Director of Rural Operations. He established the solar business in India, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Indonesia, and China, where he oversaw the sale of over 125,000 solar panels.

Damian Miller along with NP Ramesh founded rooftop solar supplier company Orb Energy in 2006.
