Ayodhya's Grand Shri Ram Temple Inauguration: A Confluence of Politics, Piety & A Special Muhurat!

Ayodhya: As the eagerly anticipated inauguration of the grand Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya approaches, it signifies the dawn of 2024, strategically chosen by the BJP to resonate with the sentiment of 'Rammay' among voters, setting the stage for the impending Lok Sabha elections in the same year. In alignment with this political agenda, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Sangh are orchestrating a comprehensive 15-day campaign, spanning the nation from January 1 to January 15. The primary goal is to forge a deep connection among the masses with the Abhishek ceremony of Shri Rama, a pivotal cultural and religious event.

The ongoing construction endeavors of the Ram temple are nothing short of monumental. The Sriram Janmabhoomi Teerthkshetra Trust has graciously shared captivating images showcasing the temple's grandeur. Notably, the lower portion of the temple stands complete, and the entrance steps are meticulously crafted, contributing to the overall magnificence of this sacred structure. Simultaneously, essential infrastructure works such as lighting and wiring are in full swing, all in preparation for the grand inauguration scheduled for January 22, an event graced by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Adding a layer of celestial significance to these preparations is the meticulous planning of the Pranapratistha ceremony of Shri Rama. The bow and arrow of Prabhu set to be adorned with opulence, embellished with gold and diamonds, elevating the sanctity of the moment. The ceremony is anticipated to capture the attention of crores of audience tuning in for the live telecast of the same.

Delving into the cosmic realm, the coronation preparations take an extraordinary turn with the alignment of celestial bodies during this auspicious event. Scheduled for 12:20 PM on January 22, the 84-second Muhurat holds a unique rarity, occurring after a considerable span of time. Six navagrahas are poised to converge during this celestial spectacle, with Jupiter casting its full vision on the fifth, seventh, and ninth houses, imparting an additional layer of divine significance.

The astrological intricacies are further emphasized by the careful calculations of the senior astrologer of Varanasi, Pandit Ganeshwar Shastri Dravin. He underscores the absence of five arrows representing afflictions—disease, thievery, death, fire and royalty—during this celestial alignment, adding an extra layer of auspiciousness to this momentous occasion. As Ayodhya gears up for the grandeur of the Pranapratistha ceremony, a convergence of cultural, religious, and celestial elements promises an unparalleled and spiritually charged inauguration of the Shri Ram Temple.
