INS Savitri

The INS Savitri is an offshore patrol vessel (OPV) of the Indian Navy, assigned to India’s Eastern Fleet. She was constructed domestically in India by Mazagon Dock Limited in Mumbai and subsequently commissioned for service. INS Savitri is tasked with maritime surveillance, patrolling the exclusive economic zone (EEZ), conducting search and rescue operations, and executing long-range deployments.
