Captain Nitin Mukesh

Captain Nitin Mukesh is a senior official in India's Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), presently holding the position of Secretary of the National Shipping Board. He concurrently occupies the role of Deputy Nautical Adviser and Senior Deputy Director General (Technical), while also acting as the Member Secretary of the Seafarers' Welfare Fund Society (SWFS). Captain Mukesh holds a master's degree in marine affairs from the World marine University (WMU) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (MICS). His work prioritizes seafarer welfare, advocates for industry initiatives, and involves stakeholders in significant maritime matters.
