2008 Mumbai Attacks, commonly referred to as the 26/11 attacks, were a series of coordinated Islamist terrorist assaults that occurred in November 2008, executed by 10 members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Pakistan-based Islamist militant organization, involving 12 shooting and bombing incidents over a span of four days throughout Mumbai. The assaults, which elicited extensive international denunciation, commenced on Wednesday, 26 November, and continued until Saturday, 29 November 2008. Seventy-five individuals perished, comprising nine of the assailants, while almost 300 sustained injuries.
