UAE Denies Lifetime Golden Visa for Indians, Bangladeshis; Terms 23 Lakh Report as False

The UAE government has clarified that recent claims about Indians and Bangladeshis receiving lifetime Golden Visas are false, dismissing the 23 lakh eligibility report.

In a recent clarification, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has dismissed the reports claiming that over 23 lakh Indians and Bangladeshis were granted lifetime Golden Visas. The authorities termed such news as baseless and misleading, emphasizing that Golden Visas are issued selectively based on criteria such as investment, talent, and specialized skills.

The viral report, which suggested mass approvals of lifetime visas for South Asians, particularly from India and Bangladesh, gained widespread attention on social media platforms and news outlets. However, UAE’s official communication has strongly denied these claims, urging people to rely only on government-issued information and updates through verified channels.

Golden Visas in the UAE typically provide long-term residency to investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, professionals, and exceptional students. The process is application-based and subject to rigorous eligibility assessments. It is not automatically granted by nationality or en masse.

Authorities have warned the public and media outlets against spreading unauthenticated data, as misinformation can create confusion and false hope. They reiterated that the UAE’s immigration policy remains strict and focused on merit, not nationality quotas.

This statement serves as a cautionary message to avoid falling for unverified visa claims and reminds aspiring applicants to follow official portals for genuine opportunities.
