Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a sharp dig at the RJD-Congress alliance, claiming that RJD has put a "katta" (gun) to Congress's head while snatching the Chief Minister's face from them, intensifying political tension in Bihar ahead of the elections.
During his speech at a massive rally in Bihar, PM Modi accused the opposition of running a confused and self-serving alliance. He stated that the Congress party, once dominant, has now been forced to act under RJD’s control. Modi further said that the people of Bihar are aware of the political drama being played out in the name of “mahagathbandhan” and that they will not let such alliances deceive them again.
The Prime Minister also pointed out how the RJD’s influence over the Congress has weakened the latter’s identity in Bihar’s political landscape. Referring to the phrase “katta to the head,” Modi indicated that Congress leaders are being pressurized and have lost both leadership and direction.
He added that the BJP-led NDA government has brought stability and development to the state, contrasting it with the corruption and instability that plagued Bihar under RJD’s past rule. Modi’s fiery remarks have set the tone for an intense political battle as Bihar prepares for the upcoming elections.
