In Kokrajhar Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Joyanta Basumatary of the United People’s Party, Liberal Party is declared the winner, securing 488995 votes and surpassing Kampa Borgoyari of the Bodoland Peoples Front by 51583 votes.

The Kokrajhar constituency in Assam is predominantly inhabited by the Bodo community, with political dynamics primarily between the Bodo and non-Bodo communities. This seat is reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST). The election for this constituency was successfully held on May 7th, with a voter turnout of 83.55 percent. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, independent candidate Naba Kumar Sarania retained his seat in Kokrajhar by securing 484,560 votes.
