In a defamation lawsuit brought by leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Suresh Nakhua, a Delhi court has summoned well-known YouTuber Dhruv Rathee. Rathee called him a "violent and abusive" troll in a video that was posted on his YouTube channel, according to BJP Mumbai unit spokesperson Suresh Nakhua's claims in the plea.
Saket Court District Judge Gunjan Gupta gave the order to summon YouTuber Dhruv Rathee on July 19, 2024, following his hearing of the case. Dhruv Rathee was also given notice by the Saket court on Nakhua's request for temporary relief. The case's next hearing date is currently August 6.

Dhruv Rathee has been accused by BJP leader Suresh Nakhua of making "bold and baseless claims" in a video. Even though these accusations are baseless, they will damage his reputation.
