Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Sharabi’: A Cinematic Toast to Triumph Over Sobriety

Director Abhishek Kapoor Announces New Film ‘Sharabi’ as a Personal Triumph Over Sobriety

In a compelling revelation, renowned filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor has declared his directorial venture into a new film titled ‘Sharabi,’ delving into his own journey of sobriety over the past four years. Kapoor, known for his directorial prowess in films like ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui,’ is set to bring his personal narrative to the silver screen.

The announcement comes on the heels of Kapoor’s remarkable milestone of being four years sober, a testament to his resilience and commitment to a healthier lifestyle. ‘Sharabi’ is poised to be a poignant exploration of the challenges and triumphs associated with overcoming alcohol addiction.

Adding a personal touch to the project, the film will be produced by Abhishek Kapoor’s wife, Pragya Kapoor, under the banner of A Guy In The Sky Production. The couple’s collaboration promises to infuse the project with a unique blend of personal and professional dynamics.

Notably, Kapoor has recently completed another film featuring the stellar cast of Ajay Devgn alongside debutant Aman Devgn and Rasha Thadani. Aman Devgn, the nephew of Bollywood stalwart Ajay Devgn, is set to make his mark in the industry, while Rasha Thadani, the daughter of Anil Thadani and Raveena Tandon, adds a touch of star power to the ensemble.

Abhishek Kapoor’s ability to craft compelling narratives combined with his personal connection to ‘Sharabi’ sets the stage for a cinematic experience that is bound to resonate with audiences. As the director ventures into uncharted territory, the anticipation surrounding ‘Sharabi’ continues to build, making it a film to watch out for in the coming months.
