In a shocking turn of events, former US President Donald Trump was shot during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, late Saturday evening. The incident occurred at around 8:30 PM local time as Trump addressed a crowd of enthusiastic supporters at the Butler.
A series of gunshots was captured by television cameras as Trump crouched under the podium to seek safety. US Secret Service operatives quickly surrounded Trump as more agents hurried to the platform to follow as well. Subsequently, the agents assisted Trump in standing up, while he lifted his fist and directed a determined glance at the assembly.
