Stree 2 Actor Mushtaq Khan Kidnapped, Tortured for 12 Hours on Delhi-Meerut Highway

The actor Mushtaq Khan, who starred in Akshay Kumar's Welcome and Stree 2, was allegedly abducted and tortured for 12 hours while posing as an invitation to an event. The actor's business partner described the terrifying experience of being abducted off the Delhi-Meerut highway.

According to reports, Mushtaq Khan received an advance payment into his account and an invitation to an event that included airline tickets. The actor was instructed to seat in a car when he arrived at the Delhi airport, and the automobile took him to a location close to Bijnor on the outskirts of Delhi. According to his business colleague Shivam, Mushtaq was tortured for about twelve hours by the kidnappers, who then demanded a crore in compensation. He said to the portal that the kidnappers had stolen over ₹2 lakh from the account of the actor and his son.

According to Shivam, Mushtaq fled the area when he heard Azaan's voice in the early morning and understood a mosque would be nearby. To get home, he then asked for assistance from others and the police. "What occurred with Mushtaq Sir left his family in utter shock. However, he was always sure that he would file a FIR after he composed himself. I went to Bijnor yesterday to formally register a FIR. We have documentation of the bank accounts, the travel ticket, and even CCTV footage taken close to the airport. Additionally, he recognises the neighbourhood, including the home where he was detained. Shivam stated, "I am confident that the police team will apprehend the criminals shortly."

Recently, comedian Sunil Pal experienced a similar situation when he was abducted while travelling to Haridwar for a private function. He was kept kidnapped by the kidnappers, who demanded ₹20 lakh in compensation. Nevertheless, Sunil secured his release through talks by paying approximately ₹8 lakh.

"We had no information about the matter," Mushtaq Khan's business colleague stated, expressing concern over two industry celebrities going through the same problems. When Mushtaq Sir returned, we discussed the matter with some of our close friends. When the media took notice of Sunil's issue, they told us about it as well. The fact that two prominent industry members had to endure such a comparable experience is startling. We hope that everyone will be protected and aware in the future. Mustaq Khan is reportedly doing well right now and is scheduled to speak to the media in a few days.
