During his time at Nottingham Forest, the club was able to earn promotion to the Premier League after spending 23 years in the English second and third tier. Additionally, Olympiacos became the only Greek football club to have won a major UEFA competition (the UEFA Europa Conference League) after they won the league in 2023–24.

 


Early Life, Education, Career and Path to Success

George Syrianos was born on 17 October 1989 in Starnberg, Germany. He is graduated from Columbia University in 2016. After graduation Syrianos started working as a private equity and management consultant. His academic background in sports management provided him with a solid foundation, but it was his early experiences in scouting and talent evaluation that truly shaped his career trajectory.


In 2017 George Syrianos joined VfB Stuttgart as Head of analytics and Assistant to the board of directors. 

 

In 2021, George Syrianos was hired as Head of recruitment Nottingham Forest. During his tenure he signed players such as Benjamin Pavard, Nico Gonzales and Orel Mangala. After sometime he is promoted to Premier league in first year. In 2024, Syrianos promoted to global technical director of Nottingham Forest, Olympiakos and Rio Ave football clubs.
