22 Coaches of Sabarmati Express Derail Near Kanpur After Hitting Object on Track

In a tragic incident, 22 coaches of the Ahmedabad-bound Sabarmati Express derailed near the Kanpur-Dehat region early this morning after the train’s engine collided with an unidentified object on the track. The accident occurred at approximately 4:15 AM, throwing the lives of hundreds of passengers into disarray. No reports of immediate injuries have come yet.

The Sabarmati Express, which departed from Varanasi and was en route to Ahmedabad, was passing through the Kanpur-Dehat district when the engine struck a large object on the track. The impact caused a massive jolt, leading to the derailment of 22 out of the 24 coaches, leaving several overturned and others off the rails.
