Russia's Luna-25 spacecraft crashes into the moon orbit
Russia is a developing country. If we focus on the past, during the time of the USSR, Russia was the only country that secured a seat in the UN Security Council and accepted all the challenges and commitments during the Soviet Union.
But nowadays, Russia is facing many challenges, such as economic inequality, corruption, and especially the Russia-Ukraine war.
Recently, Russia launched Luna-25 on the 10th of August to explore the South Pole of the moon and to compete with India.
Luna-25 didn't carry a rover (lander), but it had 8 payloads mainly to study the soil composition and dust particles in the South Pole of the moon. Its main objective was to detect water on the moon, but unfortunately, it crashed.
The main reason behind the crash of Luna-25:
According to the initial analysis, there was a difference between the planned and actual propulsion.
When the propulsion system was activated for de-orbiting the Luna-25, it was detected that there were some miscalculations.
According to Anatoly Zak, the creator and publisher of www.russianspaceweb.com, the flight control system of Luna-25 was not strong.
He said that Russia had also gone for the ambitious landing before undertaking a simple orbital mission, which has been done by the U.S., China, and India.
Russia got very ambitious to become the first country to explore the South Pole of the moon.
According to Russian scientists, the managers of space agencies are moving towards unrealistic space projects and corruption, which has led to the decline in Russia's space program.
What is the mystery behind the launch of Luna-25?
It has been a prestige project for Russia. As we all know, the war between Russia and Ukraine has caused difficulties for both countries' economies. However, Russia wants to send a message to the world that it has not been impacted by the war and is continuously making efforts to grow its economy and infrastructure.
There were many faults seen during this mission. Russia wanted to become the first country, but it failed due to faltering in its own system. On the other hand, India achieved success in launching Chandrayaan-3 this year because of the support and hard work of its entire system.
So, we can say that for achieving success in any project, our teamwork should be strong and hardworking to make it successful.
