Unnao Election Result Highlights: Swami Sachchidanand Hari Sakshi, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Unnao constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 6,16,133 votes. SP's Annu Tandon lost the election by a margin of 35,818 votes.
In Unnao Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Swami Sachchidanand Hari Sakshi, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated SP's Annu Tandon, who received 5,80,315 votes.

The Unnao Lok Sabha seat, which is adjacent to Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow and the industrial city of Kanpur, has its own political significance. Being adjacent to Kanpur city, Unnao is famous all over the world for leather trade. The Unnao Lok Sabha constituency comprises six assembly segments - Mohan, Unnao, Bangarmau, Safipur, Bhagwant Nagar and Purwa. The Safipur and Mohan Assembly seats are reserved for the Scheduled Castes.
Lok Sabha elections 2019: In Unnao, 9 candidates are in the fray, but the main contest is between BJP MP Swami Sakshi Maharaj, Samajwadi Party's Arun Shankar Shukla and Congress' Annu Tandon. BJP's Swami Sakshi Maharaj also won this election with an outside majority. He got 7,03,507 votes. On the other hand, SP's Anna Maharaj got 3,02,551 votes and Congress' Annu Tandon got 1,85,634 votes. The Unnao Lok Sabha seat recorded 53 per cent voting.
