Indian National Congress candidate Harish Chandra Meena wins by 64,949 Votes and received total 6,23,763 votes. INC candidate Harish Chandra Meena defeated BJP's Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria, who received 5,58,814 votes.

Tonk–Sawai Election Result Highlights: Harish Chandra Meena, candidate of the Indian National Congress won the Tonk–Sawai Rajasthan Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 6,23,763 votes. BJP's Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria lost the election by a margin of by 64,949 votes.

Tonk - The identity of Sawai Madhopur is important from the historical point of view due to Sawai Madhopur. The history of Sawai Madhopur revolves around the Ranthambore Fort. Ranthambore National Park is one of the most famous tiger reserves in India. Sawai Madhopur was founded by Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh of Jaipur. Princess Diyakumari of the Jaipur royal family was also an MLA from Sawai Madhopur. Tonk-Sawai Madhopur is one of the 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Rajasthan state in western India. Tonk and Sawai Madhopur districts have been witnessing the Gujjar-Meena conflict since the beginning. Tonk-Sawai Madhopur Lok Sabha seat came into existence after the 2008 delimitation.


The constituency consists of 4 assembly segments of Tonk district and 4 assembly segments of Sawaimadhopur district. The Lok Sabha elections were held for the first time in 2009 after the seat came into existence. The main contest was between Congress's Namo Narain Meena and Gujjar leader Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla. Congress candidate Namo Narain Meena won the election.


Lok Sabha elections 2019: Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria of BJP won by 6,44,319 votes, Namo Narain Meena of Congress got 5,33,028 votes and Laxmi Kant Bairwa of BSP got 23,301 votes
