BJP's Arun Kumar Sagar Wins by 92,170 Votes and received total 55,379 votes. BJP's Arun Kumar Sagar defeated SP's Jyotsna Gond who received 5,37,339 votes.

Shahjahanpur Election Result Highlights: Arun Kumar, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Shahjahanpur constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 5,92,718 votes. SP's Jyotsna Gond lost the election by a margin of by 55,379 votes.

 

In Shahjahanpur Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Arun Kumar, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated SP's Jyotsna Gond, who received 5,37,339 votes.

Shahjahanpur is an assembly constituency in Uttar Pradesh. The city of Shahjahanpur is the district headquarters. Shahjahanpur is a part of Bareilly division. Its area is 4,388 square kilometers. According to the 2011 census data, the population of Shahjahanpur was around 30 lakh. Shahjahanpur has a literacy rate of 59.54 per cent. The male literacy rate is 68.18 per cent and the female literacy rate is 49.57 per cent.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: As many as 14 candidates were trying their luck in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Shahjahanpur constituency. The Congress has fielded Brahmaswaroop Sagar. The CPI had given ticket to Manish Chandra Kori while 3 candidates were in the fray as independents. BJP's Arun Kumar Sagar won the seat with 6,88,990 votes. BSP's Amar Chandra Johar came second with 4,20,572 votes and Congress's Brahma Swaroop Sagar came third with 35,283 votes
