Rajiv Pratap Rudy of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Saran constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections with 471,752 votes, defeating Rashtriya Janata Dal's Rohini Acharya by 13,661 votes.

In Saran Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Rajiv Pratap Rudy of the Bharatiya Janata Party is declared the winner, securing 471752 votes and surpassing Rohini Acharya of the Rashtriya Janata Dal by 13661 votes.

The birthplace of Jay Prakash Narayan, Saran constituency is renowned as one of the most prestigious parliamentary seats in Bihar. Formerly known as Chhapra before the 2008 delimitation, it includes the city of Chhapra, which serves as the headquarters of the Saran district. Lalu Yadav has been elected as the MP from here four times.

 

In the 2019 elections, BJP's Rajiv Pratap Rudy emerged victorious with 499,342 votes, defeating RJD's Chandrika Rai who received 360,913 votes.
