AAP candidate Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer wins by 1,72,560 votes and received total 3,64,085 votes. AAP candidate Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer defeated INC candidate Sukhpal Singh Khaira, who received 1,91,525 votes.

Sangrur Election Result Highlights: Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party won the Sangrur, Punjab Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 3,64,085 votes. INC candidate Sukhpal Singh Khaira lost the election by a margin of by 1,72,560 votes. 

 

In Sangrur 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party defeated INC candidate Sukhpal Singh Khaira, who received 1,91,525 votes.

Sangrur Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 13 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in Punjab state in India. At the 2011 census, Sangrur Municipal Council had a population of 88,043 with 46,931 males and 41,112 females. Banasar Garden in Sangrur city is the most popular picnic spot in the city. The Durbar Hall, built in or around 1865 in the Banasar Bagh complex, has now been converted into a museum by the Department of Culture, Government of Punjab, which houses a collection of items used by the Jind State Royals. It also has a collection of arms and ammunition.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: Bhagwant Mann of AAP won by 4,13,561 votes, Kewal Singh Dhillon of Congress got 3,03,350 votes, Parminder Singh Dhindsa of Shiromani Akali Dal got 2,63,498 votes
