In Patliputra Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Misha Bharti of the Rashtriya Janata Dal is declared the winner, securing 613283 votes and surpassing Ram Kripal Yadav of the Bharatiya Janata Party by 85174 votes.

The Pataliputra Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar holds significant political importance due to its demographic composition and electoral dynamics. Initially part of a single Lok Sabha seat for Bihar's capital, Patna, it was divided into Pataliputra and Patna Sahib constituencies in 2008. Pataliputra has become a stronghold for the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), one of Bihar's prominent political parties.

 

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, incumbent MP Ram Kripal Yadav of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won with 509,557 votes, defeating RJD's Misa Bharti, daughter of former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, who received 470,236 votes.
