In Palghar Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Dr. Hemant Vishnu Savara of the Bharatiya Janata Party is declared the winner, securing 601244 votes and surpassing Bharti Bharat Kamdi of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackrey) by 183306 votes.

The Palghar Lok Sabha seat, established after the 2008 delimitation, represents a tribal-dominated area with six Assembly segments. The district's population, approximately 2,990,116 according to the 2011 census, is notable for hosting India's first nuclear power plant in Tarapur and the Tarapur MIDC, one of Maharashtra's largest industrial areas.

 

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Rajendra Gavit of the Shiv Sena won with 515,000 votes, narrowly defeating BVA's Baliram Jadhav, who received 491,596 votes. The election was successfully held on May 20th, with a voter turnout of 61.65 percent.
