In Nanded Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Chavan Vasantrao Balwantrao of the Indian National Congress is declared the winner, securing 528894 votes and surpassing Chikhalikar Prataprao Govindrao of the Bharatiya Janata Party by 469452 votes.

Nanded is the tenth-largest city in Maharashtra and India's 77th most populous city. It is the second-largest city in the Marathwada region and serves as the district headquarters of Nanded district. The election for this constituency was successfully held on April 26th, with a voter turnout of 60.94 percent.

 

The first Lok Sabha election in the Nanded constituency was held in 1952, and the Congress party has traditionally dominated this seat. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Pratap Govindrao Chikhalikar of the BJP won the seat with 486,806 votes, while Ashok Chavan of the Congress secured 446,658 votes, and Yashpal Bhinge of the VBA came third with 166,196 votes. The constituency had a voter turnout of 60.88 percent in 2019.
