In Munger Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Rajiv Ranjan Singh Alias Lalan Singh of the Janata Dal (United) is declared the winner, securing 550146 votes and surpassing Kumari Anita of the Rashtriya Janata Dal by 80870 votes.

Munger, one of the 40 Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar, has a population of 1,359,054. It includes six Vidhan Sabha segments: Munger, Jamalpur, Suryagarha, Lakhisarai, Mokama, and Barh, covering parts of Munger, Lakhisarai, and Patna districts.

 

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, former MP Rajiv Ranjan Singh, also known as Lalan Singh, contested from JD(U) and won with the support of the NDA. Lalan Singh had previously won in 2009 and 2019, defeating Neelam Devi of Congress, the wife of Anant Singh.
