Sudip Bandyopadhyay of the All India Trinamool Congress Party (AITC) and MP of Kolkata Uttar was declared the winner of the Kolkata Uttar constituency of West Bengal by securing a total vote of 454696 by defeating Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Tapas Roy in West Bengal by 92560 votes.
