Pratima Mondal of All India Trinamool Congress Party (AITC) and MP Jaynagar was declared the winner of the Jaynagar constituency of West Bengal by securing a total vote of 894312 by defeating the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Ashok Kandari in West Bengal by 470219 votes.
