In Jahanabad Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Surendra Prasad Yadav of the Rashtriya Janata Dal is declared the winner, securing 443035 votes and surpassing Chandeshwar Prasad of the Janata Dal (United) by 142591 votes.

Jahanabad, a district in Bihar, is affected by Naxal activity and is considered sensitive from a security perspective. This area has experienced several Naxal attacks and is part of the Red Corridor. Historically, the Jahanabad Lok Sabha constituency was a stronghold of the Left, but later candidates from the Congress and Janata Dal also won here.

 

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, JD(U) candidate Chandeshwar Chandravanshi won the seat with 335,584 votes, while RJD's Surendra Prasad Yadav came second with 333,833 votes.
