BJP's Ashish Dubey wins by 4,85,190 votes and received total 8,12,147 votes. BJP's Ashish Dubey defeated INC candidate Dinesh Yadav, who received 3,80,451 votes.

Jabalpur Election Result Highlights: Ashish Dubey, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 8,12,147 votes. INC candidate Dinesh Yadav lost the election by a margin of by 4,85,190 votes. 

 

In Jabalpur 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Ashish Dubey, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated INC candidate Dinesh Yadav, who received 3,80,451 votes.

Jabalpur is also known as the cultural capital of Madhya Pradesh. It is also the headquarters of the Indian Ordnance Factory Board and the West Central Railway.According to the Puranas and legends, the city was earlier named Jabalipuram, as it is associated with Maharishi Jabali. He is said to have lived here. The city is situated on the banks of the holy river Narmada.

 

Jabalpur is one of the 29 Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh. This constituency covers the entire Jabalpur district. Since the delimitation of parliamentary and assembly constituencies in 2008, Jabalpur Lok Sabha constituency comprises eight Vidhan Sabha segments Patan, Bargi, Jabalpur East (SC) Jabalpur North, Jabalpur Cantt, Jabalpur West, Panagar and Sihora (ST)

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP candidate Rakesh Singh won from this seat with a margin of 8,26,454 votes. Congress candidate Vivek Tankha came second with 3,71,710 votes and BSP candidate Ramraj Ram came third with 12,873 votes.
