On Tuesday, a meeting of the party's parliamentary board was held under the leadership of NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah.
NC Vice President Omar Abdullah was also present in it. In the nearly three-hour meeting, NC decided to contest alone on three seats and almost finalized its candidates. It was decided in the meeting that if an agreement has to be made with other constituents of INDIA, PDP and Congress, then it can be done only for two seats in Jammu division and one seat in Ladakh. Efforts should also be made to ensure that NC gets one seat.
