BJP's Bharat Singh Kushwah wins by 70,210 votes and received total 6,71,535 votes. BJP's Bharat Singh Kushwah defeated INC candidate Praveen Pathak, who received 6,01,325 votes.

Gwalior Election Result Highlights: Bharat Singh Kushwah, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 6,71,535 votes. INC candidate Praveen Pathak lost the election by a margin of by 4,25,225 votes. 

 

In Gwalior 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Bharat Singh Kushwah, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated INC candidate Praveen Pathak, who received 6,01,325 votes.

Gwalior is an assembly constituency in Madhya Pradesh. According to the 2011 census, Gwalior has a population of 27,30,472. 51.04 per cent of the population lives in rural areas and 48.96 per cent in urban areas. In Gwalior, 19.59 per cent of the population belongs to the Scheduled Castes and 5.5 per cent to the Scheduled Tribes. Gwalior is a historical city of India whose fort has been ruled by many historical north Indian states. It was given to the Mughal Empire from the Tomars in the 13th century, then to the Marathas in 1754, and then to the Scindias in the 18th century. Prominent among the places in Gwalior are Jai Vilas Palace, Sun Temple, Gaus Mohammad's Tomb and Gwalior Fort.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar of the BJP got 6,27,250 votes (won). Ashok Singh of the Congress got 4,80,408 votes. Mamta Singh Kushwaha of the BSP got 44,677 votes
