Manipur: In the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party and its ally, the Naga People’s Front, were ousted in Manipur's Inner and Outer constituencies, paving the way for Congress candidates. This election took place amid the ongoing ethnic conflict between the Valley-based Meiteis and the Hills-based Scheduled Tribe Kuki-Zo people.
In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Angomcha Bimol Akoijam from the Indian National Congress won the Inner Manipur constituency with 374,017 votes, and Alfred Kanngam S.
