Basirhat Lok Sabha 2024 Election Results Highlights: Sk. Nurul Islam of the All India Trinamool Congress, won the Basirhat constituency by 333547 votes.

 

Sk. Nurul Islam of All India Trinamool Congress Party (AITC) was declared the winner of the Basirhat constituency of West Bengal by securing a total vote of 803762 by defeating the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate and the leader of Sandeshkhali protest Rekha Patra in West Bengal by 333547 votes.

The Basirhat constituency of West Bengal is one of the most significant constituencies of West Bengal and is composed of Baduria, Haroa, Minakhan, Sandeshkhali, Basirhat Dakshin, Basirhat Uttar, and Hinggalganj. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Trinamool Congress candidate Nusrat Jahan Ruhi won the elections by 350369 votes.
