Sudama Prasad of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) won the Arrah Lok Sabha constituency in the 2024 elections, defeating BJP's R.K. Singh by 59,808 votes.

In Arrah Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Sudama Prasad of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) is declared the winner, securing 529382 votes and surpassing R.K. Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party by 59808 votes.

The Arrah Lok Sabha constituency, located in the Bhojpur district, was part of Sasaram until 1972 and later merged with Buxar. Situated in the fertile valley of the Ganges and Son, it serves as a major commercial and grain distribution center. The constituency has a significant population of Muslim and Yadav voters.

 

In the 2019 elections, BJP candidate RK Singh won the Arrah seat by a margin of 147,285 votes, securing a total of 566,480 votes, while CPI (ML) candidate Raju Yadav received 419,195 votes.
