INC Candidate Kishori Lal won against BJP's Smriti Irani. INC Candidate Kishori Lal got a total of 5,39,228. BJP'Smriti Irani got 3,72,032 votes. INC Candidate Kishori Lal won the seat by 1,67,196 votes.

There are 80 Lok Sabha constituencies in Uttar Pradesh. Created in 1967, this constituency covers the entire Amethi district.Amethi is an important Lok Sabha constituency from the Indian political point of view. It has been the political cradle of the Nehru-Gandhi family of India. The constituency is represented by former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, his grandson Sanjay Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and his wife Sonia Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi had contested from Amethi in Lok Sabha 2014 elections but lost to BJP's Smriti Irani in the Lok Sabha 2019 elections. 

 

Lok Sabha elections 2024: In the Lok Sabha election 2019, BJP's Smriti Irani won the seat by 4,68,514 votes. Congress candidate Rahul Gandhi got 4,13,394 votes and NOTA got 3,940 votes.
