Akbarpur, a Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh, was established in 2009 and was previously part of Bilhaur Lok Sabha. It was a former Congress stronghold in the Doab region. Akbarpur Lok Sabha constituency includes five assembly seats. These comprise Akbarpur Rania, Bithoor, Kalyanpur, Maharajpur, and Ghatampur assembly seats, with Ghatampur being reserved for Scheduled Castes.

 

In 2019 Lok Sabha Election, BJP's Devendra Singh Bhole won the 2019 Lok Sabha Election by a large majority of 2,75,142 votes, defeating BSP candidate Nisha Sachan. Devendra Singh received 5,81,282 votes.
