Dr. Manmohan Singh (26 September 1932 – 26 December 2024) was an Indian politician, economist, scholar, and bureaucrat who held the position of the 13th Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014. He held the position of the 13th Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014. He was the inaugural Sikh Prime Minister of India. Manmohan Singh was born in Gah, West Punjab, now part of Pakistan; his family fled to India at the split in 1947.
